Alan Alpenfelt - Swiss/British theatre, radio and music producer / artist living in Mendrisio, Switzerland.
Born in Perth, Scotland in 1982. BA in Media & Communications at Lugano University, Switzerland & Philosophy at Università Statale, Milan Italy.
His contemporary adaptation of Samuel Beckett’s Words and Music was selected for the Swiss Theatre Encounters 2016 in Geneva as one of the seven best Swiss productions of 2015.
He was part of the professional jury at 2016 SonOhr radio drama festival in Bern.
In 2017 he was selected by ProHelvetia for the first ProHelvetia Seminar at the Singapore Arts Festival 2017.
In 2018 he was artist in residence at LAC Lugano under the guidance of Carmelo Rifici and Francesca Garolla. His final work was a stage production of “JACKIE” by Elfriede Jelinek.
Alan’s interestes are in the fields of multilinguistic networking for theatre and radio.
Alan is also involved in community radio empowerment. He contributed to creating different social and cultural radios in Switzerland and recently in Morocco.
